Friends,
Ben, Kyle, and I have been having a wonderful time here at Allen Hall Seminary in Chelsea, London. This past month of November was quite a busy one and this December promises to be just as busy. In the past weeks we have had the opportunity to visit Fr. Kevin Grove, C.S.C. studying at Cambridge and Fr. Aaron Michka, C.S.C. studying at Oxford, both were great day trips where we experienced not only great community but also great architecture as well as the art of punting (think a venetian gondola). We also had our first round of essays due (finally!) as well as our fall break. While I went and stayed at a monastery in Reading, England for a few days of prayer and personal retreat, Ben embarked on a journey to Scotland, and Kyle traveled to Spain. We are currently all working hard on our final essays and end of year assessments. With lots of upcoming events and activities planned for the next two weeks we are sure it will be a lot of fun especially as we embark on our planned Christmas break for the cities Venice, Rome, and Berlin. Know of our prayers for all of you especially our friends, families, mentors, and brothers in formation.
Ave Crux,
-Joe D.
