The men of Old College took on the Moreau residents in an epic battle in which the Moreau team came back to win in the ninth inning. Moreau took an early lead to eventually give up a number of runs to a storming OC team. Old College put together a string of hits, with smart base running, to take a comfortable lead with some cushion going into the final inning. Senior Anthony Stachowski scored the winning run for Moreau while plowing through the Old College catcher Bryan Williams. Monsignor Michael Heintz called a great game from behind the plate as he was recruited to be he umpire for the game. All in all it was a great game and a wonderful way to spend time together.
